Authentication for healthcare. For the AI agents your teams run,
and the patients and clinicians who sign in.

Every billing, intake and scribe agent acts for an employee and is checked before it runs. Patients and staff sign in without a password.

AI agent authentication

In his billing assistant, Tom Alvarez asks it to work the cardiology denials queue. Hawcx checks each tool call: reading 64 denied claims and resubmitting 41 corrected ones are allowed; an $18,750 write-off is over the $5,000 limit, so it is held for Grace Liu, the revenue-cycle director, who approves it; opening full patient charts is beyond what billing needs, so it is rejected.

Every agent has an owner on staff.Every patient signs in without a password.

  1. Agents your clinicians and staff use

A scribe acts as its clinician, a billing assistant as its analyst, with no shared keys.

  2. Agents your teams build

Prior-auth, intake and claims agents work within limits, and wait for a person when it matters.

  3. Patient sign-in without a password

Patients and caregivers verify a device once. After that it signs them in to the portal and app on its own.

AI agent authentication

Agents that draft, book and bill. Each one held to what its job needs.

Every agent answers to a clinician or staff member. Each action it takes in your EHR, scheduling or billing is checked before it runs.

Sign-off stays with the clinician

The agent drafts the request. Dr. Okafor signs before it goes to the payer.

Intake within its limits

Visits are booked and coverage is checked. The full chart stays closed.

Every agent has an owner

The scribe works for Dr. Okafor. It drafts her notes, and can’t order or sign.

When a clinician leaves

Their agents stop with them, and any later call is denied.

Passwordless authentication

Sign-in without a password. For patients, families and care teams.

A new device is verified once, by an email or SMS code, a QR scan or a push. After that, its own key signs the person in, with nothing to remember or reset.

Care for a parent

Lucia manages her mother’s care from her own phone, signed in by its key.

At the nurses’ station

Scan the code with your phone, and the shared workstation is yours.

Telehealth check-in

Patients confirm it’s them with a push to their phone, then join the visit.

Every sign-in, by method

QR at the workstation, a key on the iPad, a push for the new laptop.

What health systems get.One sign-in behind every agent.

One platform for both. The clinician who signs in with Hawcx is the person their agents answer to.

  • An owner for every agent

Healthcare questions, answered

How do health systems control what AI agents can do?

Each agent answers to the clinician or staff member it works for, and every call it makes into your EHR, scheduling or billing systems is checked against your policy before it runs. Routine work runs, sensitive actions wait for a person, and anything beyond the agent’s job is turned down.

Can an AI agent use patient records without seeing the whole chart?

Yes. Your policy limits each agent to what its job needs, such as the schedule and coverage for an intake agent. A request beyond that, like a billing agent opening full charts, is turned down before the call runs, and the attempt is recorded with the employee the agent answers to.

Can a clinician sign off before an AI agent acts?

Yes. Your policy names the actions that wait for a person, such as submitting a prior authorization or writing off a balance. The named person sees the exact request and why it was held, then approves, edits or rejects it. Everything else keeps moving.

What happens to a clinician’s AI agents when they leave?

Each agent’s identity comes from the person it works for, and it never holds that person’s credentials. Revoke the person, and every agent they own is locked out, so any later call is denied.

Can patients and clinicians sign in without a password?

Yes. A new device is verified once, by an email or SMS code, a QR scan or a push, and from then on its own key signs the person in. Patients use it in your portal and app through SDKs for iOS, Android, Web, React, React Native and Flutter. Clinicians and staff sign in to their apps with Hawcx as a passwordless SAML identity provider federated with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace.

Does Hawcx make us HIPAA compliant?

No. No authentication product makes an organization HIPAA compliant on its own, and Hawcx doesn’t claim to. What it adds: every sign-in is proved by a key on the person’s device, and every agent action is recorded with the employee it answers to.

Sign-in that never slows care. And agents that answer to your staff.
