# Hawcx > Hawcx is authentication for AI agents and the people behind them. It roots every AI agent in a verified person and checks each tool call before it runs; people sign in without a password. Hawcx sells two products: - **AI agent authentication** for a company's own AI agents: the assistants its employees use and the agents its teams build. Every agent gets an identity derived from the employee it works for. Hawcx checks each tool call before it runs, holds sensitive actions for a named person to approve, and records every attempt, allowed or denied. - **Passwordless authentication** for people: customers and employees verify once with an email or SMS code, a QR scan or a push, and from then on their trusted device signs them in with its own phishing-resistant, device-bound key, so there is no password to phish, reset or leak.
